You can, for example, visit an authentic fisherman’s house built in 1870 at the Maison de la Beurière, explore the marine environment in Nausicaà, the National Sea Centre, or discover the traditional festivals such as the fish or herring festival.

A city of art and history

The old town, surrounded by ramparts, takes you back, as you visit its monuments and walk the cobblestones of its narrow streets, to the 19th century. A walk around the ramparts and a visit to the Notre-Dame Basilica or Château-Museum is a must.
